Titanium vs Stainless steel
Weight
Titanium systems are typically 30–40% lighter than the equivalent stainless system. On a full system that can be 6–10 lb off the back of the car.
Tone
Titanium tends to ring brighter and rasp-ier; stainless is warmer and rounder. Neither is "better" — it is a taste call, which is exactly why we host sound clips.
Cost
Titanium runs 40–80% more than stainless for the same design. If budget is tight, a well-designed stainless system will outlast the car.
